Public holidays dataset: 100 countries, 2026–2027, free
Every public-holiday calendar on this site, downloadable in the three formats people actually use: CSV for spreadsheets, iCal for calendar apps, JSON for code. 2,664 dated holidays across 100 countries, covering 2026 and — where already gazetted — 2027.
There is no signup, no API key and no rate limit, because these are plain static files. Use them in a product, a spreadsheet or a script. The only condition is attribution: link to timedatelive.com wherever the data is shown (that's the whole of CC BY 4.0).
Everything at once
- all-countries.csv — one file, every country, one row per holiday (2,664 rows)
- all-countries.json — the full dataset keyed by country, with ISO codes, weekend definitions and local-language names
- timedatelive-holidays.zip — all 300 per-country files in one download (242 KB)
Per country
Each iCal file imports straight into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook and contains both years. Each JSON includes the country's weekend days (not every country takes Saturday–Sunday) and local-language holiday names where they differ.
Where the data comes from
The dates are the same vetted dataset that powers the holiday pages on this site: compiled from official government gazettes and cross-checked against the open-source python-holidays project and the Nager.Date public API. Countries whose religious holidays follow lunar sightings (marked estimated in the files) can shift by a day when the official sighting is announced.
2027 is included for 99 of the 100 countries; Sri Lanka publishes its Poya calendar by gazette during 2026 and will be added when official. Files are regenerated monthly, so substitute days announced mid-year make it in.
